Obsession of the Day: My Makeover with Legendary Stylist Lori Goldstein

Because this is ALL I can think about today.

Today's the day that I've been working out for, sweating and dreaming about the possibility of a Cinderella moment of my own, a makeover with legendary fashion insider and stylist, Lori Goldstein.

And let me be clear, Lori Goldstein isn't just ANY stylist. She's worked with Madonna, styled shoots for...well, here's her bio from Models.com:

Driven by an unparalleled imagination, Lori Goldstein is one of the most sought-after stylists in the fashion industry. For over twenty years she has been identified by her collaborations with Annie Leibovitz, principal photographer for Vanity Fair, and since the early 1990's, with Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue. While Goldstein's contribution to fashion and portraiture distinguishes her, she has continued to be an innovator and experimenter in the realm of fashion, drawing on a vast historical and contemporary cultural knowledge. Originally inspired by the work of Diane Arbus, Goldstein was driven to see the world in new way. Her contributions to Italian Vogue, China Vogue, Vogue Nippon and W along with a vast array of iconic advertising images from Versace, TSE, Vera Wang, Gap, Tiffany's and Kohl's demonstrate her keen ability to reinvent and rejuvenate the field. Goldstein has held positions of Contributing Editor at Italian Vogue and Allure, and has acted as creative consultant and stylist for numerous celebrities including Madonna, Demi Moore, Julianne Moore and Anne Hathaway. She has worked as a creative consultant with over forty fashion designers including Vera Wang, Nina Ricci, Carolina Herrera, Versace, BCBG and TSE.

She's beyond fabulous and she's going to help me get my epic new look just in time for New York Fashion Week.

Obviously, there will be tons of photos and I'm shooting video of the makeover as well but if you want to follow along for all the amazing fun, I'll be tweeting from the makeover site. You can follow me on @fashionstbeauty and look for the hashtag #kristinsnewlook.

OOOOH! Also, if you want to get in on some fabulous style from my new Fashion Fairy Godmother, she's launched a line on QVC that is TO DIE FOR called LOGO by Lori Goldstein.  Loving items like this Sequin Patch and Trim Knit Tunic ($48) or her Pailette Trim Cardigan Sweater ($61.50). Check out these items and more from this amazing fashion guru (because who else should you consider buying clothes from than someone who WORKS with women all day to fit them properly?) and keep it tuned to twitter and Facebook for updates throughout the day from my magical, miracle makeover!
