FSB Lunch Buzz: Heathers, Celine and American Apparel saved



“My teen angst now has a body count!” The original mean girls are coming to Broadway. Yes, we are happy to announce Heathers: The Musical is on its way. (The Frisky)

Phoebe Philo, the previous wunderkind designer of Chloe, will actually premiere her first collection for Celine as resort 2009, which is earlier than her planned spring 2010 October runway show. We love Phoebe so this is great news! (British Vogue)

American Apparel just sold a major $80 million stake to London-based private equity firm Lion Capital. Evidently the chain was dangerously close to folding. Looks like hipsters will be awash in cotton staples for a least a little while longer. (The Cut)
