Origins Invites You For A Little Trash Talk

As fans of good products from companies who do good things, we here at FSB would love to let you know about a little something happening at Origins. One of our favorite do-gooder beauty lines has decided to celebrate Earth Day by rewarding those of you who want to reduce, reuse and recycle. Starting at 10 a.m. on April 2nd, the first 100 people to bring empty cosmetic containers from any brand* to their local Origins sales location will receive a deluxe sample of A Perfect World™ Intensely hydrating body cream with White Tea! So, grab your recycling and a cup of coffee and head to your local Origins. It’ll do the planet and your winter-dry skin some good. Don’t live in these markets? All nationwide locations will begin participating in the recycling program on April 2nd as well. More details can be found here.

That’s not all! Does anything really happen if the paparazzi isn’t there to capture it? Well, have a friend photograph you and upload your glamour shots of you recycling at your Origins location to the Origins Facebook page or post images on Flickr (just make sure to tag all photos with "Origins Trash Talk.") Not only will your good deed be immortalized forever, for every new Facebook friend that joins, Origins will plant a tree!

Reduce your stress, reuse some of that old packaging and recycle some fabulous vintage find so you can look fabulous while you do some good. Sounds to us like the origin of a fantastic Earth Day.

* Sorry about this but it appears in the fine print that Nordstrom, Canada and Puerto Rico will not be participating. Bummer.
