Shopping Event: Zac Posen for Target 24-Hour Shopping Party

You know that New Yorkers love a good party and we take combat training for a good sale. Well, ladies of Manhattan, it's time to call in scared for work next Thursday (as in, "I'm afraid I won't be there today) and take a disco nap because Zac Posen is creating a pop-up shopping party here in our fair city where you can shop his collection for Target BEFORE it's released in stores across the country. Beginning at 11 pm on April 15th and ending at 11 pm on April 16th, expect fabulous fun fashions from the designing genius at unbelievable prices.

You'll notice I said "shopping party," right? That's because there will be live music and DJs playing to make this a shopping experience like no other! Performances by The Like and DJs Kid America will make this the hottest spot in town for a full 24 hours, in addition to surprises happening every hour at random. I mean it, people: you won't want to miss this one. See you there!

Zac Posen for Target Pop-Up Shopping Party
Beginning Thursday, April 15th at 11pm - Friday, April 16th until 11pm
481 8th Avenue at 34th Street

Shopping Destination: Mackage Soho Pop-Up Store

I'm obsessed with the designer outerwear goods of Mackage. I'm definitely a little more rock and roll lately and the cutting-edge styles from Eron Elfasy and Elisa Dahan are some of my favorites, like this impossibly chic Maggie Leather Jacket ($620).

From buttery-soft leather to slimming sub-zero puffer jackets, Mackage is a line worth investigating (and investing in a few pieces, if I do say so myself.) The designing duo has opened a pop-up boutique at 148 Spring Street in Soho here in my beloved NYC and they still maintain their other boutique in the Meatpacking District, so stop into either location and peruse the finery.

Can't make it to NYC just yet? Mackage goods are sold online via their official website. So hit this amazing outerwear company and get yourself a little something for being such a good girl this year. After all, you deserve it!

FSB Shopping Alert: The Limited is Coming To Manhattan For a Limited (ha!) Time!

Anyone else miss The Limited here in NYC? This Gen X favorite and current day beloved store for all things fashionable hasn't had a presence in Manhattan for ten years, which has caused the shopping equivalent of a Quest for Fire for me as I hunt down store locations when I travel. The shopping treks can cease, Manhattan shoppers, because The Limited is coming to our beloved Soho for four fabulous days next week!

Recreated as a pop-up store (i.e. temporary retail boutique), The Limited will have live window installations and daily in-store experiences that will not only draw on current offerings, but the rich history of the store as well. Oh yes, ladies, the pop-up store will hail the return of the iconic 80's wardrobe staple, the Forenza collection. Write this down: be one of the first 84 customers each day to purchase a Forenza Collection piece at the original price from the Collection launch in 1984.
